One of the key messages coming from the Government and others is to encourage us to be kind towards each other during the distressing circumstances we are facing. There have been some heart-warming stories, when hope has been given to individuals where there appeared to be none.

We invite you to consider God’s kindness towards this fallen world. The apostle Paul wrote, the kindness and the love of God our Saviour toward man appeared Titus chapter 3 verse 4.

The coronavirus appeared silently and unexpectedly, bringing with it destruction and death. God’s kindness towards us also appeared silently and unexpectedly over two thousand years ago. The message to a fallen world was clear and simple: For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord Luke chapter 2 verse 11. It brought hope to those who first heard it, as it still does today.

Far from destruction and death, God’s kindness brought salvation, through Jesus Christ. He did not come to destroy lives but to save them through His death on the cross.
