We make many decisions in our lives and sometimes admit, ‘I got it wrong’. Some wrong decisions have long-lasting consequences. During the coronavirus pandemic, Sweden decided to take a relaxed approach to the crisis, with few restrictions. However, in the midst of a rising death toll, the Prime Minister has conceded that they ‘got it wrong’.

We invite you to consider important eternal issues. Jesus spoke of a prosperous man, who gave no thought to God or eternity, Luke chapter 12 verses 16-21. His philosophy was to ‘eat, drink and be merry’; however, God said, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you.’ He ‘got it wrong’ and chose death rather than life. King Solomon wrote. ‘The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise’ Proverbs chapter 12 verse 15.

Consider God’s counsel: ‘Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him, and to our God for He will abundantly pardon’ Isaiah chapter 55 verses 6-7. Do this and you will ‘get it right’!
