Paris boasts the champion of all roundabouts! Converging on the Arc de Triomphe are ten streets which merge into ten lanes of traffic – all lanes unmarked. No wonder it is one of the most dangerous intersections in the world. Yet bicycles, motorbikes, mopeds, minis and, of course, the tour buses, take their chances with fate and sometimes require several extra laps around the circle before safely exiting on their desired street.

Roundabouts remind me of several things: relationships that are unhealthy, negative thoughts that dance around the same old unproductive theme, fears for the future, a job that is meaningless. As the days of restriction slowly come to a close, let’s use the remaining time to see if there are any false beliefs that have us trapped in endless circles of frustration and call out to God for help when we lack the wisdom or courage to walk in truth. ‘If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you’, James chapter 1 verse 5.
