So go the words of a Christian chorus:

Yesterday, today, forever, Jesus is the same;

All may change, but Jesus never, Glory to His Name!

These words may be considered old-fashioned, but they are true because they are based on the words of the Bible: ‘Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever’ Hebrews chapter 13 verse 8.

As we face many changes, and perhaps many things will never be the same, others have faced similar changes too and the challenges they bring. The Bible has given great strength and confidence in the past and will do so today. Jesus Christ is still an eternal, unchanging Saviour and Friend, what He has done in the past, He is still able to do today.

He still saves, He still forgives, He still keeps. He has not changed. Praise Him!

And He will be the same tomorrow.
