Many people accept that Jesus was born, lived, died and was buried; however, asking them to believe that He rose from the dead after three days is a step too far, Theories have abounded to explain away His resurrection. One woman, Mary Magdalene, who was present at this pivotal event, challenges us to TURN AROUND, put on one side our various opinions about what happened and see what she witnessed, John chapter 20 verses 1-18.

On the first day of the week, she went to the burial tomb, but she found that it was empty! She concluded that someone had taken the Lord’s body elsewhere; therefore, it was as well for her that she TURNED AROUND and saw A MAN STANDING, who she supposed was the gardener – in fact, it was Jesus! We invite you to TURN AROUND too and look, by faith, into the empty tomb and embrace the truth that Mary discovered, i.e. that Christ is alive! The Bible says, ‘If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved’, Romans chapter 10 verse 9.
