Alone

How pitiful was the sight 10 days ago to see the Her Majesty Queen of England, alone in her grief. She stood alone … she walked alone … she sat alone … she wept alone. Many wanted to be at her side but the covid precautions prevented it. Thousands today have experienced the same grief and loneliness, ALONE, and they feel it still.

God made us as human beings to enjoy relationships with others, more importantly with Him. God has placed us in families and communities so we should not have to be alone; sadly, that is not always possible, but that is the desire of God.

It is humbling to know that when Adam and Eve first sinned, God did not abandon them, leave them alone to find a remedy. No. ‘And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden’ Genesis chapter 3 verse 8. God came to them; sadly, they hid but God persisted and refused to leave them alone. He had a wonderful plan to bring pardon and forgiveness.

Upon the cross, Christ suffered alone, shut away from a holy God as He suffered for sin, in the darkness, abandoned by His God. When Christ returned to heaven after His resurrection, He gave His followers a wonderful promise “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Consequently, ‘We may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” ’ Hebrews chapter 13 verses 5-6.

No more ALONE. No, never alone, no, never alone; He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone. For more information, please contact us. We will gladly send you a Bible and other helpful literature. We will pray for you. Come back again for another Message of Hope.
