“He has done all things well” Mark’s Gospel chapter 7 verse 37.
What encouraging words to hear. Many of us do a few things well; a few of us do many things well. But of the Lord Jesus it was said “He has done all things well”.
“All things”? Yes “All things”. He does not make mistakes nor does He have regrets; we certainly do,but thank God “He has done all things well”.
When He created this world in 6 days “God saw everything that He had made and indeed it was very good” Genesis chapter 1 verse 31.
On the cross of Calvary, knowing He had fully and finally given God an answer for sin through His own sacrificial death, the Lord Jesus exclaimed “It is finished” John’s Gospel chapter 19 verse 30. So complete and perfect is the work of salvation it has not had to be repeated nor amended, instead “when He had by Himself purged our sins, (He) sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high” Hebrews chapter 1 verse 3.
“He has done all things well”. You can still trust Him even when you may not understand all that is happening in your life:
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified” Romans chapter 8 verses 28-30.
Happy Monday!
