“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God” 1 John chapter 5 verse 13.

There are many things God wants for us and one of them is that we might have true knowledge: know Him, know the truth of His word and know His promises. As our verse tells us, the Bible is written “that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” Learn some more about what you can know:

• “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, Whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another” Job chapter 19 verses 25-27.

• “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46 verse 10.

• “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” Romans chapter 8 verse 28.

• “I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day” 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 12.

I know not why God’s wondrous grace to me He has made known,
Nor why, unworthy, as I am, He claimed me for His own.
But “I know Whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I’ve committed unto Him against that Day.”
