Verse for the day: “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved!” Jeremiah chapter 8 verse 20.
One Bible verse and three lessons:
- God is faithful, He gave us the seasons: “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease” Genesis chapter 8 verse 22.
- Time flies: “For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appears for a little time and then vanishes away” James chapter 4 verse 14.
- We need to be saved: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” Acts chapter 4 verse 12.
Don’t leave salvation to another day. “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” 2 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 2.
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father, there is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not, as Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine with 10, 000 beside.
Happy Monday.
