Have you ever thought “What does God want?” We often thinks that God only wants bad things for us as if He is Someone who can never be pleased. The Bible tells us something completely different.
- What does God want for you?
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who will have (or desires) all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” 1 Timothy chapter 2 verses 3-4. God wants you to be saved, forgiven of your sins.
- What does God not want for you?
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 9. God does not want you to perish, to be eternally lost because of your sins.
- How does God achieve this?
“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” 1 Timothy chapter 2 verses 5-6.
God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus, He came to love, heal and forgive
He lived and died to buy my pardon, an empty grave is there to prove my Saviour lives
You matter to God, He has planned the best for you through His Son Jesus Christ.
Have a good day!
