PARTNERS WITH CHRIST WHEN HE REIGNS ON EARTH

There will be three main partners with Christ when He returns to reign:

• ANGELS – ‘When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels’, 2 Thess.1.7.
• THE CHURCH – ALL CHRISTIANS – from the time of Pentecost (Acts chapter 3) until the Lord’s second coming for the Church – ‘When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory’, Colossians 3.4.
• SAINTS OF ALL AGES (Old & New Testament) ‘Thus the Lord my God will come and all the saints with you’, Zech.14.5.
  

There will be great changes during the time of Christ’s millennial reign:

FOR CREATION

• Creation will be delivered from the bondage of creation and the curse placed by God in Genesis will be removed.
• There will be an abundance of grain, fruit and grass on the earth.
• There will be amazing changes in the ANIMAL KINGDOM – ‘The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young line and the fatling together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox … they shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain …’ Isaiah 11.6 – a truly amazing sight

FOR ISRAEL

• the saved of Israel will be gathered and restored.
• Israel will be unified – one nation; one king – no longer two kingdoms!
• Jerusalem will become the religious and social centre again.

FOR MANKIND IN GENERAL

• an absence of war.
• an absence of fear.
• economic security.
• a desire to worship.
• a population explosion.
• death will be a rarity.
