“Look to Me …”  “Looking unto Jesus …” 

What are you facing today? Who are you looking to for help and guidance?  Many claim to have the answers but how can you trust them.

God proves He can be trusted because of His faithful and forgiving character.  So, for our salvation the Bible tells us:

• “There is no other God besides Me, a just God and a Saviour; there is none besides Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other” Isaiah chapter 45 verse 22.
  

As the Son of God, Jesus Christ proved Himself as well to be faithful and forgiving.  Even dying on the cross Jesus prayed for forgiveness for those who crucified Him.  As the example for Christians the Bible tells us:

• “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2.
  

Where are you looking today? Not to a preacher or a priest but to Christ Himself.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His gory and grace.
