Verse For The Day

“He (Christ) is risen” Matthew chapter 28 verse 6.

May we never lose the joy and the thrill of that first Easter, Resurrection Day. “He (Christ) is risen”. The day that started with despair ended with great hope. What a difference the Risen Christ made and still makes today.

  • Mary from Magdala – thought her True Friend had gone forever, but Christ came to her before any of His other followers John chapter 20 verses 1-18.
  • Peter, who denied Jesus, had Christ come to Him privately; Christ never gave up on him Luke chapter 24 verse 34, John chapter 21 verses 15-22.
  • The husband and wife walking home from Jerusalem, so dejected, with all hopes dashed, were transformed when the risen Christ joined and walked with them Luke chapter 24 verses 13-33.
  • Thomas, the infamous doubter, saw the Risen Christ for himself, believed and worshipped Him, “My Lord and My God” John chapter 20 24-28.
  • Paul, the hater of Christ and Christians, was transformed when Christ appeared to him Acts chapter 1-19.

And there are many more. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 5-8. The Risen Christ wishes to bless and save you too. “He (Christ) is risen

I serve a risen Saviour, He’s in the world today; I know that He is living, whatever men may say;
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer, and just the time I need Him He’s always near.
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
