As 2022 draws to a close, what will help you as you face the unknown in 2023? Friends and family? We can thank God for such. Your own positive thinking or determination? We do learn that for all their good, family, friends and self-effort are not enough to calm our fears and anxieties; they cannot being certain hope.
But the Word of God will. The Bible brings meaning to life and hope for the future as found in Jesus Christ.
On this the last day of the year, let us take with us the words of the last verse of the Bible:
“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
Revelation chapter 22 verses 21
Whatever we face, this is enough.
- Fears for the future? “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
- Uncertain decisions? “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
- Sickness and upsets? “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
- Even death to face? “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
Grace is God’s limitless kindness shown to us in the gift and death of His Son Lord Jesus Christ, with the single intention that each of us comes into God’s free and full salvation as found in the Lord Jesus Christ. And this is for all, God excludes none.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8-9
Isn’t that enough for 2023? Happy New Year.
