The Bible says, ‘For yet a LITTLE WHILE, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry’, Hebrews chapter 10 verse 37. Many people would accept that it is a fact of history that Jesus was born in Bethlehem. However, it is only a minority, who believe that He will come again soon to earth to rule and execute judgement. Indeed, the majority would scoff at such a suggestion and join those in the days of the apostle Peter, who said, ‘Where is the promise of His coming? For . . . all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation’. 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 4. Peter reminds us, ‘Do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day’, 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 8.

Christians believe that the Lord Jesus will return at any moment to take all those, dead and alive, who have accepted Him as their Saviour to be with Him forever in heaven. They also believe that a little while after this, He will return, with them, to rule in righteous judgement on earth. The time is short – trust Christ as your Saviour from sin today!
