We have heard much in the media about panic-buying in these unprecedented times. There is nothing more guaranteed to raise panic levels in people than the prospect of the loss of physical well-being and even life itself. Understandably, many are focused on self-preservation. The future is uncertain and the country is on tenterhooks, ‘hoping for the best’.
Job, a character in the Bible, summed up how many might be feeling today: For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again . . . But man dies and is laid away; indeed, he breathes his last and where is he? Job chapter 14 verses 7 & 10
We, pray that you and your loved ones will be preserved in the months ahead; however, we also hope that events will cause you to think on your eternal, as well as physical, well-being. You can have a sure and certain hope for the future by turning to God and having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died to save you.
